Take time to reflect about the beauty of this planet we call home during Earth Day and this week!
As I sit in the beautiful sunshine of my back garden today I have turned the radio off that was playing in the background to really hear the voice of Planet Earth; the gentle hum of insects collecting pollen from the newly open spring flowers and the tweet of birds (not the Social Media ones), I count my blessings for the many sounds that Mother Nature provides and that are often drowned out by radios, TV’s, computers etc.

Ask yourself this question, “Am I making a difference to enhance, protect and invest in the quality of life for future generations of this planet we named Earth?” If not, then begin this week by applying actions to a few green ideas and investments to this Planet.
Take a bit of time out now to switch off the devices that may be stopping you hear Mother Nature’s Song today and save a bit of electricity at the same time.
I am going to walk to the allotment later today instead of taking the car, it may take a few more minutes and a little more effort but Earth and all that reside on her will be able to breath a little easier for it. You may ask what difference one journey makes, well with 32 million cars in the UK then quite a bit by my maths!
